The only tweet from facebook currently is getting plenty of angry replies

Ha! Oh I believe it’s more than some! From what I’ve been reading up about this & experiencing myself for the past few hrs, it’s a global issue! Not one of the social media sites is working! Has it been hacked I wonder?!
Can’t help but feel like something sketchy is happening!
Weird how it happened after the whistleblower went on 60 Minutes last night, as Facebook stock is tanking, and before she talks to a Congressional committee tomorrow.
Some people? I think it's millions of people
Pls fix it as early as possible , I just approached to ask about my divorce with my wife on whatsapp and it just shut down without any reply , I thought she blocked me ... But later I found it is from the server.....
I suspect it has something to do with TPLF a rebel group in #Ethiopia. Before #Facebook was down, this rebel group operatives hacked the verified page of Ethiopian Broadcast Corporation and latter the general outage happened. Who are Fb’s staff that are of Ethiopian descent?
You people have a real problem with transparency. Your having a worldwide outage that is affecting EVERYTHING you own. And the timing is pretty suspicious after the damning 60 Minutes Interview.
Exactly they are trying to act like they are not scrubbing their site worldwide after being exposed by their whistleblower on 60 minutes and her testimony to Congress tomorrow. Coincidence? I think not.
A lot of the comments mention the 60 Minutes whistleblower - LINK HERE

Facebook shares currently down over 5% but as the chart indicates the drop was before the outage at the opening of the US Stock Exchange at 2:30pm UK time
